I’ll Still Be Here When You Return is a moving image work that explores the space between sleeping and wakefulness during a chronic illness flare up. Point cloud animations made from 3D scans on the artist’s bedroom during their post-surgery recovery dissolve into one another while a deceivingly calm and meditative voice over drifts between thoughts of pain, illness, memory, isolation and mortality.
